No one. I repeat NO ONE expected that. NVIDIA has released alternate graphics drivers (Web Drivers) for macOS Mojave 10.14.4. These are separate from the drivers Apple ships as standard, and should be considered experimental. These drivers have been known to solve OpenCL issues with certain applications, as well as providing better native GPU power management for certain devices.
Gtx 1050 Ti For Sale
Oct 03, 2018 I was using it with the stock Nvidia GT 210 and then with a GTX 1050 Ti and it was working fine with the Nvidia web drivers on 10.13.X. Now, I got a GTX 980 Ti that has been flashed to show the boot screen on MacPro's and I'm trying to install Mac OS Mojave and it won't install because it says that the card is not Metal compatible, which, I can. Apr 11, 2017 The driver should support all Pascal-based graphics cards under macOS Sierra, including the GTX 1050, 1050 Ti, 1060, 1070, 1080, and 1080 Ti, as well as the Titan X and Titan Xp.
These drivers are currently the only method to get full acceleration for GeForce GTX 1050, 1050 Ti, 1060, 1070, 1070 Ti, 1080, 1080 Ti, TITAN Pascal, and TITAN Xp 'Pascal' graphics cards and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750, 750 Ti, 950, 960, 970, 980, 980 Ti, and TITAN X 'Maxwell' graphics cards. There are no current Macs with these cards, so support is absent natively in macOS.
If you've installed the drivers before, you may get a notification to update to the new drivers from the built in System Preferences pane.
In order to use the alternate drivers on your hackintosh, you must first install the driver package.
Jun 29, 2017 Hi tko03, Yes the card will work. I'm running an Nvidea Geforce GTX 1050 Ti 4 MB in my MacPro 5.1 (Mid2012). With MacOS Sierra 10.12.4 and latest Nvidea web drivers. After upgrading from a GTX 760Ti SC which also worked very well. This is why I have kept my MacPro's.
Up to2%cash back From what I have heard, all of the Kepler architecture cards work well in Mojave but most don't have a boot screen. The GTX 680 Mac Edition card, or a GTX 680 flashed with Mac EFI will give you a boot screen. MacVid Cards provides some other Kepler cards (including the GTX 670) with Mac EFI and therefore boot screens.
The EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti & 1050 hit the perfect spot for that upgrade you know you need, but at the price you want! With the latest NVIDIA Pascal architecture, the 4GB GTX 1050 Ti displays stunning visuals and great performance at 1080p HD+, while the 2GB GTX 1050.
